Flash Video Web Browser – Full Chrome, IE, Firefox, Safari Compatible App Reviews

This isnt a browser itself. It uses Remote Desktop, which is not what I expected from the title.

The Splashtop browser requires an active home PC plus the installation of software on that PC to function. This is not a "stand alone" product. You cannot browse the Internet from your iDevice using this product unless you currently own a separate Internet-connected home PC. At best this product is a Remote Desktop viewer. At worst, the Information Harvesting (which has a number of illegal contract-voiding clauses contained within itself) is utilized for criminal purposes. This product does not "run Flash". It is entirely fraudulent in my opinion.

It just a browser

This app needs to be downloaded on a pc to work properly. I ended up finding one that works with out using a pc in iTunes. Good luck

Developers.. You may see, but apparently not clearly understand, the biggest complaints here and I strongly feel its because of YOUR misunderstanding of what you "think" youre offering us, and what we feel we are being offered. What we are being offered in this App (and not Splashtop Personal): A program that will connect us to our PC, then present us immediately with our default PC web browser. Started automatically Ready to go Perfect, it works great. Really does. HOWEVER: After this 5min "demo", you dont even offer this EXACT APP anywhere. I DO own Splashtop 2 Personal, and its NOT the same program as it DOES NOT immediately open my default web browser when connected. Its a different app, different process. I have to open Splashtop Personal, then find and tap on my browser icon in the tray or Start menu, which then opens my web browser. Usually, with the screen so small, I have to zoom in on my web browser icon to be sure I tap that and not another program. Thats why THIS APP is different. You present it as Splashtop Personal being the SAME as this App... ITS NOT the same thing! I know... Big deal, so I have to find my browser icon and start Firefox. So what, right? But, it does make a difference! I LOVE this idea of pressing an app icon on my iPad, and without having to find and tap an icon in my PC, or adjust anything, it JUST WORKS and OPENS MY BROWSER... Ready to use. TAP... BAM... BOOM... easy cheesy squeezy... This app here is PERFECT for a tap.. Then there it is, my web browser. THATS WHAT WE ARE BEING TOLD WE CAN HAVE HERE. Splashtop Personal does things in a different way! Its NOT THIS APP HERE!! Not the same thing... Get that? And yes, I "know" that i own It, and within Splashtop Personal, I can purchase your $16.95/year add-on that allows me to create a SHORTCUT that will open my web browser, but its STILL not as convenient as THIS APP right here. BOTTOM LINE: I love this app and wish I could remove the 5min limit. I cant, and worse, you still believe Splashtop is the same app, its not. I already own Splashtop Personal and ITS NOT THE SAME Program as this. Im not sure you understand that. Make THIS App upgradable for $5 and Ill buy it!!! Its MUCH faster and MUCH easier to use than clicking my way through Splashtop Personal to accomplish the same thing, even with shortcuts added. If you make THIS app available without the timer, you WILL make additional sales for your product, and us users will be very happy with the ease of use. This app can only be accessed by having a working computer. To sum it up, this app is dumb, and stupid

Not standalone

This app has the audacity to require email registration and PC installation. I am deleting the app after writing this comment and I hope other users will disregard the app

Why I need to register before I try it. Need to have a PC TO CONNECT YOU WITH YOUR BROWSER.

This app just asks you to make an account and once you do, it brings up something about splash top for PC. It doesnt let you do anything, absolutely nothing. Just an advertisement for a different product. Deleted after 3 minutes.

App is a fraud. As others stated it will not play Flash and is really a remote computer viewer. Shame on Apple for not screening apps. Seems Apple just wants your $ $ $.

How do you delete this stupid app I have waited an hour and some one else said to wait 3min. Deleted this app from the App Store!!!!!!

Worst crap Ive ever seen

Deleted immediately, makes you sign up and them tells you that you need a PC. It is falsely advertised.

The free download gives you 3 min to check it out,then you have to upgrade if you want to use it longer.. You think 3 min is enough time to get anywhere? No way. So then you have to back to the computer and reinstall.. Hey, the reason we are trying this app is to not use the desktop. Not to load something twice. !! Have no idea how it works yet.. Frustrating..

Seriously this is the same splashtop app just repackaged as a different app.... Wth? The only thing it does differently is it automatically calls up your default browser upon opening...thanks but I can click an icon on my own. Seriously a laughable attempt at a money grab

This doesnt work right at all. Its very confusing for a 11 year old to use this, and I dont like this. Do not even download this to even try.

This app has you make an account, then you have to buy something for pc. I downloaded this so I dont have to be on my pc and you arent helping that very much. This app is a waste of time I cant believe I didnt read the comments before this. I hope that this gets updated or its not gonna get any reviews.
